Meeting & Event Planning

The SENTECH Team is broadly and deeply experienced in all aspects of conference and meeting management: agenda development; logistics; security; marketing; catering planning and coordination; lodging; securing translation services; meeting collateral development; monitoring and identifying technology, policy, and market topics; securing speakers from industry, academia, and government; and identifying and securing utility, industrial, and academia research and technology demonstration sites for visitation by conference participants.

Through five site support contracts during 1983-2006, the SENTECH Team provided a broad range of management, planning, and on-site support to DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) for domestic (onsite and throughout the U.S.) and overseas conferences, workshops, stakeholder meetings, technology transfer meetings, and public outreach events.

We routinely produce events for associations such as the U.S. Fuel Cell Council, the Sustainable Energy Coalition, Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the National Hydrogen Association (NHA), the Energy Storage Association (ESA), and the National Science Foundation. Event sizes ranged from less than 20 to more than 400 attendees.

The SENTECH Team also places priority on ENERGY STAR® and green facilities. Several meeting sites have expanded recycling programs or pursued an ENERGY STAR building rating as a result of discussions with the SENTECH Team members that managed events at their site.
