SENTECH has played an important role in supporting the public sector in building clean energy private-public partnerships and developing indigenous alternative energy resources. In that capacity, our company employs its strong facilitation and convening expertise to promote decision support and stakeholder consensus building. The SENTECH staff has been instrumental in developing public/private partnerships such as the Hawaii Gateway Energy Center partnership and a cutting-edge solar thermal cooling/freezing project partnership in Nevada. In addition, SENTECH staff created and helped facilitate the Energy Treasure Hunt, a school energy efficiency retrofit and education project in West Contra Costa School District near San Francisco, with stakeholders PG&E, Philips Lighting, Trane, TRACO, the California Energy Commission, and the ENERGY STAR for Buildings program.
